Job Responsibilities:

• Create an environment of active and genuine learning by employing a range of teaching strategies that meet the needs of all students
• Teach technique, interpretation and music theory to students through private or group lessons Inspire students’ love for music and stimulate their enthusiasm for learning
• Prepare lesson plans, define teaching objectives and formulate the lesson curriculum; Plan and prepare lessons based on students’ needs, aims and abilities; Advise students on program curricula
• Prepare students for various instrumental performances; Assist in rehearsals and sectionals, or take the responsibility and direction of performances
• Make periodic examination plan to correct the deficiency of students' skills in a timely manner
• Collect, sort and archive teaching materials; Manage the use of instruments and teaching equipment
• Organize students to participate in internal or external performances and various school activities; Coordinate and direct major activities involving instrumental ensembles
• Comfortable dealing with kids and parents, discussing achievements and expectations; Monitor each student’s progress and keep the student and parents informed of progress
• Organized and committed, with a professional appearance
