Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the engineering team at White Cap Supply Canada Inc. to develop and implement efficient production processes and workflows.
- Conduct studies and analysis to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
- Design and optimize plant layouts and production facilities to maximize efficiency and streamline operations.
- Assist in the development and implementation of quality assurance programs to ensure high product standards are maintained.
- Conduct work measurement and time studies to establish production standards and identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and enforce health, safety, and fire prevention plans to ensure a safe work environment for all employees.
- Provide training and support to employees on safety protocols and operational procedures.
- Utilize computer applications and software to optimize machines and processes, including proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, MS Word, and industrial technology software.
- Collect and analyze operational and experimental data to identify trends and make data-driven decisions to enhance.
- Assist in the preparation of estimates, schedules, specifications, and reports for projects.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and architectural plans to ensure accurate implementation of engineering designs.
- Monitor production processes, operate equipment, and inspect processes to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years to less than 3 years of relevant experience in industrial engineering
- Proficiency in computer applications and software such as AutoCAD, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, MS Word, and industrial technology software
- Completion of a two- or three-year college program or equivalent in industrial engineering technology, pulp and paper technology, plastics technology, textile technology, manufacturing technology or a related discipline is usually required for industrial engineering or manufacturing technologists.
- Familiarity with Mastercam CAD/CAM, SolidWorks software, ERP software, project management software, and data analysis software is an asset.
- Work under pressure to meet production demands.
- Attention to detail and ability to distinguish between colors.
- Combination of sitting, standing, and walking may be involved.

Pay Scale: 78,000 to 80,000 annually for 40 Hours per week.
