JOB LOCATION: 375 Midwest Road, Scarborough, ON Canada M1P 3A6
RESPONSIBILITIES
– Operate machines to grind, extract, mix, blend, dry or otherwise process food products.
– Operate machines to bag, box or otherwise package food products.
– Observe gauges, computer printouts and video monitors to verify specified processing conditions.
– Maintain shift log of production or other data.
– Set up and adjust processing and packaging machines preparatory to operation.
– Check products to ensure conformance to company standards and clean machine blockages as required.
– Record production information such as quantity, weight, size, date and type of products packaged/
– Perform corrective machine adjustments, clean machines and immediate work areas.
– Inform supervisor or mechanical malfunctions or product irregularities
EDUCATION
-NO Certificate, Diploma or Degree required
WORK EXPERIENCE
– NO Work Experience Required; Employer will provide on-the-job training
WORK CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL ABILITIES
Repetitive tasks, Handling heavy loads (Up tp 50 pounds), Physically demanding, Attention to detail, Combination of sitting, standing, walking, Standing for extended periods, Bending, Crouching, Kneeling, Fast-paced environment.
