General construction labourer

Description

Job Requirements:

·       Language: English

·       No formal education is required. Completion of high school is an asset

·       On-the-job training will be provided. Some experience is an asset

·       Must be physically fit

·       Team player, hardworking

·       Willing to work in a flexible schedule including weekend

·       40 hours per week, overtime may be required

·       Day, evening, morning, shift, weekend availability

·       Work Location: North River, NS and nearby

·       Positions Available: 3

Job Responsibilities:

·       Handle the loading and unloading of construction materials and transport them to the work area.

·       Set up construction sites by arranging materials and tools as required.

·       Assist heavy equipment operators, tradespeople, and construction supervisors as needed.

·       Assist in framing houses, erecting walls and building roofs.

·       Remove debris such as rubble using tools like rakes, shovels, and wheelbarrows.

·       Properly clean and organize tools and equipment at the end of the shift.

·       Follow company safety policies as required.
