Gaya Korean Restaurant is seeking F/T Food Service Supervisors.

Position Info:

• Position: Food Service Supervisor
• Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
• Wage: $18.50~20.00/hour (depending on experience)
• Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week
• Number of Positions:  2
• Work Location: 5240 Rumble Street Burnaby BC V5J 2B6

Benefits:

• 4% vacation pay

Job Duties:

• Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule the activities of kitchen staff
• Calculate and order ingredients and supplies as required
• Manage records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage
• Make sure that food and service meet quality control standards
• Involve in the selection of food service staff and support the development of policies, procedures and budgets
• Conduct regular inspections of the restaurant kitchen to determine whether proper standards of hygiene and sanitation are maintained

Job requirements:

• Language: English
• Experience: 1-2 years of experience in the food service sector, including supervisory experience, are required
• Education: Completion of secondary school is required
