The company operating name: Health, Education & Livelihood Project International o/a Help International Title of Position: Forest Nursery Worker Business address: Po box 181 Weyburn, SK S4H2J9 No# of Positions: 7 Language requirement: English Wage: $12-$13 to start Benefits package (if applicable): N/A Hours (each week): 32 per week minimum Location of work: Land location – NE-20-8-15 West of 2nd meridian, Weyburn, SK, S4H 2J9 Max 500Km radius- only in Saskatchewan Education: Secondary School Work Experience: Willing to train Terms of employment: 2 years full time Year round Job duties: Prepare soil; seeds and cuttings; and transplant seedlings and rooted cuttings as per requirements Spray tree seedlings to prevent disease and pests if required Position irrigation systems to water nurseries and fields Dig, cut and transplant trees, shrubs, and prepare them for sale Provide information to customers on the care of trees and shrubs May operate tractors and other machinery and equipment to cultivate fields, harvest genetic material and trees seedlings Maintain inventory and order materials as required Clean working areas Produce Soil Amendments, and seedling protection from recycled materials Other duties as required Job requirements: Physically fit Attention to details Love of the outdoors Be able to lift 40 pounds repetitively Able to work in all season conditions outside Ok with getting dirty
