We have an opening for a Food Service Supervisor (NOC 62020) role for our restaurant “Pizza Pizza” O/A “2135452 Ontario Ltd.” located at 7694 Islington Ave Unit 5 Vaughan, ON L4L 1W3. A fast-paced environment for a team-oriented person. If you have what it takes to supervise the team in a restaurant, then this is a position for you.  

Job requirements
Language: English

Education: Completion of Secondary school or equivalent experience.
Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year.

Job Duties:

• Establish methods to meet work schedules
• Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food
• Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures
• Estimate and order ingredients and supplies
• Ensure food service and quality control
• Address customers' complaints or concerns
• Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage
• Prepare and submit reports
• Supervise and check assembly of trays

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Physically demanding, Sanding for extended periods, Repetitive tasks, Work under pressure, Attention to detail

Ability to supervise: 3-4 people

Employment conditions: On call, Morning, Day, Evening, Shift, Weekend, Overtime
Hourly Rate: CAD $17.50 per Hour for 35 to 40 Hours per week
Starting Date: As soon as possible
Terms of Employment: Full time and permanent
