Food Service Supervisor

Description

*  Employment Type: Fulltime /Permanent

*  Location: Oakville, ON

*  No of vacancies: 1

*  Minimum Working Hrs: 30hr- 40hr/week

*  Educational Requirement: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years

*  Experience: 7 Month to less than 1 year

*  Language requirement: English

* Responsibilities : 

1. Establish methods to meet work schedules
2. Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food
3. Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures
4. Estimate and order ingredients and supplies
5. Ensure food service and quality control
6. Prepare budget and cost estimates
7. Address customers' complaints or concerns
8. Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage
9. Establish work schedules

*  Supervision: Food service counters attendants and food preparers

*  Security and safety: Basic security clearance

*  Work conditions and physical capabilities : Fast-paced environment, Work under pressure, Standing for extended periods, Tight deadlines , Attention to detail
