Position: Food Service Supervisor

Working Hours: 30~40hrs per week, 5 days a week, may have to work overtime if needed

Work Shift: Wednesday to Sunday

Wage: $20.00

Benefits: Staff meals & one month paid vacation in January or February

Harrison Corner Cafe offers full dining services specialized in brunch. We are located at the resort town of Harrison Hot Springs and our restaurant is a local favorite with huge influx of tourists during the season of spring and summer.

Main duties

 

  • Oversees the daily food service in all areas of kitchen and dining room
  • Supervise and check the assembly of food plates and delivery of foods
  • Handle shift schedules for food services workers and assign them tasks on daily basis
  • Coordinate frequent workplace inspections
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service workers
  • Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate daily operations
  • Participates in menu preparation, ensuring menus are updated and recipes are revised
  • Ensuring all equipment is clean and maintained
  • Communicate positively and enthusiastically to the restaurant patrons and address their issues promptly
  • Ensure that each employee follows safety regulations and procedures
  • Train staff
  • Ensure food service and quality control

 

Employment Requirements

 

  • Completion of secondary school
  • Flexible availability for weekends & holidays
  • Food safe level 1
  • 1-2 years of experience in food preparation/service is required
