Victoria Apartment Properties Ltd., dba Renaissance Retirement Residence, is seeking a full-time food service supervisor.

Educational and Experience Requirements:
- Completion of Secondary school is required
Job requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of previous experience in food service industry.
Language Requirements:
English
Start date:
ASAP
Wage:
$18.50-$19.50 /hour (Depending on experience)
Hours:
30-40 hours per week

4% remuneration vacation pay

Job Duties:
- Supervise, co-ordinate and direct daily operations
- Monitor and ensure food and service meet quality control standards, and feedback to kitchen staff when needed
- Maintain records of stock, repairs, and daily resident attendance
- Ensure all food service areas are clean and tidy
- Supervise and check assembly of regular dishes for the residents
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, safety procedures, and food preparation
- Address residents’ complaints or concerns, and solve problems when needed
