Job Title: Food and Beverage Server (NOC code:65200)
Work Location: 1254 Kingsway, Vancouver, BC, V5V 3E1
Wage: $16.75/hour
Working Hours: 40 hours/week
Terms of Employment: Full-time and permanent
What you need to do:
• Directly reporting to the Food Service Supervisor and will primarily be responsible for efficiently serving all beverages and food to our customers.
• Present menus and has a thorough knowledge of menu and make suggestions to customers.
• Answer questions regarding food, beverages and promotions.
• Provide excellent customer service, greet incoming customers and engage with customers in a welcoming manner.
• Take orders and serve food and/or beverages to customers.
• Cashiering duties, including preparing checks and handling payment transactions.
• Maintain cleanliness standards by performing tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, organizing the server station, waste disposal, and restroom checks and maintenance.
Qualification Requirements:
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in multitasking within a fast-paced setting.
• Previous serving experience preferred but not necessary.
• Friendly attitude with excellent customer service skills
• Must have a flexible schedule and be available for morning shifts and late-night finishes.
