Built-Up Flat Roofers (NOC 73110)

Seeking qualified industrial / commercial flat roofers for full-time employment (between 32 and 44 hours per week). 

Requirements
– Ideal candidate has least two (2) years of experience on commercial roofs

– Ability to to work independently with limited supervision

– Required up-to-date safety certifications would be assets but training provided: WHMIS, Propane in Construction, Rooftop Safety, Fall Protection

– Weekend availability an asset

– Willingness to work in varying weather conditions (cold, heat, etc.)

– Ability to work in physically demanding job in a fast-paced environment

Duties Include

– Installing, repairing and replacing conventional and inverted built-up flat roofing systems using materials such as asphalt-saturated felts and hot asphalt and gravel

– Installing, repairing and replacing modified bitumen roofing systems, single-ply sheet membrane systems etc.

– Applying waterproof coatings to concrete and other masonry surfaces below and above ground level 

– Using overhead hoists, asphalt kettles, conveyor belts, hand and power tools

– Provide training to entry-level and apprentice roofers

Wages
Wages are commensurate with experience. Competitive wages offered. Between $36 and $42 per hour. Benefits available after probationary period.
