Field Service Representative

Krka Power Inc. is hiring a full-time Field Service Representative Job Duties: The successful applicant will perform the following duties:

• Calibrate electrical equipment and instruments according to technical manuals and written instructions.
• Write and submit MoPs;
• Pre-site preparation of SLD, MoP, test equipment, tools etc.;
• Coordination and execution of all on-site activities in a manner so as to ensure the safety of all employees as well as their productivity;
• Coordinate and schedule of all maintenance activities with all required parties, hydro and ESA, third-party contractors as required, and personnel required on site as needed;
• Ensure test sheets are loaded and all maintenance reports are completed and issued in a timely manner;
• Ensure any deficiencies identified during maintenance are flagged and proper follow-up is done with the customer;
• Respond to emergencies as required and provide service reports upon completion;
• Ensure that a PO/WO has been created for the work and invoices generated; and
• Source and order all parts required for any emergencies, maintenance follow-up or project related work.

  Skills Requirements

• Several years of electrical engineering technician or technologist experience;
• Completion of post-secondary education in electrical or electronic engineering technology, computer engineering technology, or similar;
• Fluent in English (oral, verbal and written);
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret electrical wiring schematics;
• Ability to execute safe LOTO (lockout-tagout) procedures; and
• Ability to perform standardized inspection and testing of MV and LV power distribution equipment;

Location of Work and Business Address

• We are currently hiring for work at the following location:

Unit 1A-3348 Harvester Road Burlington, ON L7N 3M8

• The position requires travel through Ontario.

  Wages

• $34.13 per hour

  Terms of Employment

• 40 hours per week, permanent
