Position Info:

·         Position: Cook

·         Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent

·         Wage: $17.00~$20.00/hour (depending on experience)

·         Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week

·         Number of Positions:  2

·         Work Location: 3803 26 Avenue SW, Calgary, AB T3E 6V7

Benefits:

·         4% vacation pay

Job Duties:

·         Prepare and cook complete meals and dishes for customers

·         Plan menus, determine the size of food portions, estimate food requirements and costs, and monitor and order supplies

·         Inspect kitchens and food service areas

·         Supervise kitchen staff and may train in preparation, cooking, and handling of dishes

·         Involve in supplies and equipment orders when necessary

·         Clean kitchen and work areas and manage kitchen operations

·         Maintain kitchen inventory, supplies, and equipment

Job requirements:

·         Experience: 2-3 years of commercial cooking experience are required

·         Education: Completion of secondary school is required

·         Language: English
