Gurjit Brar Farms is looking to hire a Farm Supervisor who can start working as soon as possible. Further job details are as under: –

Job Title – Farm Supervisor Location – Canyon, BC Wages – $18.00/ Hour Vacancies – 1 Employment Groups – Youth, Indigenous people, Newcomers to Canada, Seniors Terms of Employment – Permanent Employment, Full time 35 Hours/ Week Start Date – As soon as possible Employment Conditions – Shift, flexible hours

Job requirements

Languages English

Education Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience 2 years to less than 3 years

Work Site Environment Fruit and vegetable combination farming

Personal Suitability Organized, Team player

Tasks Co-ordinate and supervise the work of general farm workers and harvesting labourers, Develop work schedules and establish procedures, Ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed, Maintain quality control and production records, Supervise and oversee growing and other crop-related operations, Maintain work records and logs, Hire and train staff, Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment

Supervision 5-10 people

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities Physically demanding, Combination of sitting, standing, walking
