UNICER FOODS LTD. NOW HIRING AN EXPERIENCED CHEF FOR OUR KITCHEN/TAKE-OUT SERVICE REQUIREMENTS OF THE JOB:
- At least two years of skilled work experience as a chef
- Extensive experience with fish preparation
- Experience in Portuguese cuisine is an asset
- Food Safety Certificate
DUTIES OF THE JOB:
- Maintain records of food costs, consumption, sales and inventory
- Requisition food and kitchen supplies
- Prepare and cook food on a regular basis, or for special guests or functions
- Prepare and cook food and complete meals or specialty foods (Portuguese cuisine)
- Create new recipes involving fresh fish
SALARY: COMMENSURATE WITH EXPERIENCE, BETWEEN $17.00 TO $26.00 PER HOUR HOURS OF WORK: FULL-TIME, 40 HOURS PER WEEK CONDITIONS OF WORK:
- Fast-paced environment, combination of sitting, standing, walking
- Standing for extended periods of time
