Drywall Installer Helper

Description

Fortune Drywall Ltd is looking to hire two Drywall Installer Helpers to work for their business located at 6971 144 Street, Surrey BC, V3W 5R8. This position is full-time with 8 hours a day, and 40 hours per week. We welcome part-timers as well to apply for this position.

As a Drywall Installer Helper, you will be performing the following job duties:

• Load and unload drywall materials, and move materials to work areas.
• Assist skilled tradesperson and perform laboring activities at the worksite.
• Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants, and remove other hazardous materials.
• Remove rubble and other debris at sites using rakes, shovels, wheelbarrows, and other equipment.
• Mixing and pouring the concrete and pass it to the installer.
• Assist heavy machine minders and signal operators to guide them in moving equipments.
• Fill joints, holes, and cracks with joint compound using a trowel and broad knife.
• Screw panels to wood or metal framework and smooth out the imperfections.
• Perform other activities at the construction sites, as directed.

Job requirements:

• No education is required.
• On the job training will be provided.
• No specific language required.
• Location of work (Various Locations in Lower mainland)

What we offer:

• $21.00 per hour
• 4% vacation pay of the gross salary will be paid each pay period
• Term of Employment: Permanent, Full-time position
• Part-timers will be considered
