Coastal Truck and Equipment Ltd., located at Unit-106, 1485, Coast Meridian Road Port Coquitlam, BC V3C 5P1, is looking for permanent and full time Diesel mechanic to join them earliest as possible.



Positions Available: 02

Job Type: Permanent / Full-Time

Wage Rate: $41.00/ Hour

Language: English



Duties:

• Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions.

• Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment to determine extent of repair required.

• Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts.

• Test repaired equipment for proper performance and to ensure that work meets manufacturers' specifications, Clean, lubricate and perform other maintenance work.

• Service attachments and working tools, Verify and repair emission control systems.





Job Requirements:

• Completion of secondary School is required.

• Completion of a three- to five-year apprenticeship program or A combination of over four years of work experience in the trade and some high school, college, or industry courses in heavy equipment repair for trade certification is as asset.



Experience:

1 or 2 years of experience in related field is required.
