Job Title: Deli clerk

Hours of Work: 30-40 hours/week
Salary & Benefits: CAD 15.85~17.00 per hour
Employment Terms: Full-Time/Permanent

Qualifications Required:
- Completion of Secondary school
- 6 months to 1 year of work experience in retail setting is an asset
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and discuss type, quality and quantity of merchandise sought for purchase
- Advise customers on use and care of merchandise, and provide advice concerning specialized products
- Prepare merchandise for purchase
- Assist in display of merchandise
- Conduct sales transaction and may accept cash, cheque, credit card or automatic debit payment
- May prepare hot and cold deli food
- Stocks, rotates, and monitors deli product temperatures before and after cooking
