We have the best sushi restaurant in Nanaimo, BC. We are serving fully Japanese sushi and strive to serve the best food for our customers. We pride ourselves on offering quick and exceptional service. We are looking for an experienced full-time Cooks to prepare for this summer season.

Position: Cook.

Main Duties:

• Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods.
• Oversee kitchen operations.
• Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment.
• Prepare food summaries for a chef according to requests from special customers.
• May clean kitchen and work area.
• Work with specialized equipment such as deep-fryer and grill etc.
• May plan menus, determine size of food portions, estimate food requirements and costs, and monitor and order supplies.

Requirement:

• Completion of secondary school is usually required.
• 2 years of cooking experience is required.

Wage: $18.00 ~ $20.00 per hour

Working Condition: 30 ~ 40 hours/week.
