Description

We have an opening for Cook (63200) at our “Nodo Leslieville” restaurant (2666524 Ontario Inc.) located at 1192 Queen Street E, Toronto, ON M4M 1L4. A fast-paced environment for a team-oriented person. Responsibilities will include preparing food for in restaurant and take out while following all food safety guidelines and product standards.
 

Job requirements
Languages: English

Education: Completion of Secondar (High) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
Experience: 7 months to 1 year of experience.

Cuisine: Italian

Job Duties:

• Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
• Plan menus, determine size of food portions, estimate food requirements and costs
• Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food
• Order supplies and equipment
• Supervise kitchen staff and helpers
• Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
• Clean kitchen and work areas
• Manage kitchen operations
• Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, physically demanding, Standing for extended periods, Repetitive tasks, Work under pressure, Overtime required, Handling heavy loads
