Description
We have an opening for Cook (63200) at our “Desi Corner” restaurant (2035744 Ontario Inc.) located at 40 Dundas St E Suite C1, Mississauga, ON L5A 1W2. A fast-paced environment for a team-oriented person. Responsibilities will include preparing food for in restaurant and take out while following all food safety guidelines and product standards.
Job requirements
Languages: English
Education: Completion of Secondary school or equivalent experience.
Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years.
Cuisine: Pakistani, East Indian

Job Duties:
- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
- Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
- Plan menus, determine size of food portions, estimate food requirements and costs, and monitor and order supplies
- Inspect kitchens and food service areas
- Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food
- Supervise kitchen staff and helpers
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
- Clean kitchen and work areas
