We have an opening for Cook (63200) at our “Karahi Point” restaurant (2792545 Ontario Inc.) located at 2501 Hampshire Gate, suite Unit 8A Oakville, ON L6H 6C8. A fast-paced environment for a team-oriented person. Responsibilities will include preparing food for in restaurant and take out while following all food safety guidelines and product standards. We operate in a safe environment and follow all protocols to keep our team and guests safe. These protocols include barriers, masks, gloves, and hand sanitizer just to name a few. Job requirements Languages: English Education: Completion of Secondary school or equivalent experience. Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years. • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
• Plan menus, determine size of food portions
• Estimate food requirements and costs, and monitor and order supplies
• Inspect kitchens and foodservice areas
• Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food
• Order supplies and equipment,
• Supervise kitchen staff and helpers
• Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
• Clean kitchen and work areas
