Description

We have an opening for a Cook at our restaurant “102163143 Saskatchewan Ltd.” O/A “ The Desi Shack” located at 330 Silverwood Rd, Saskatoon, SK, S7K 6Y4.

A fast-paced environment for a team-oriented person. Responsibilities will include preparing food for takeout while following all food safety guidelines and product standards.

Position: Cook (NOC 63200)

Job requirements
Languages: English

Education: Completion of Secondary school or equivalent experience
Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year

Cuisine: East Indian

Job Duties:

• Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
• Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
• Plan menus, determine size of food portions, estimate food requirements and costs, and monitor and order supplies
• Inspect kitchens and food service areas
• Order supplies and equipment
• Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
• Clean kitchen and work areas
• Manage kitchen operations
