BOBS LIKES THAI FOOD INC. is hiring a full-time cook who specializes in preparing and cooking authentic Thai cuisine.

Job Duties:

The successful Applicant will perform the following duties:

• Preparing and cooking full course authentic Thai meals as well as individual Thai dishes and food;

• Planning or creating possible new authentic dishes;

• Accommodating special meals for individuals with dietary or health concerns;

• Planning menus, ensuring quality of food and gauge size of food proportions while working with minimal supervision;

• Inspecting kitchens and food service areas;

• Training and overseeing the staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food; and

• Working with specialized cooking equipment (deep fryer, etc).

Skills Requirements

• Completion of high school;
   
• Strong proficiency in English;

• Some college/vocational training in cooking at a commercial establishment or several years of experience; and

• Previous experience cooking Thai cuisine.

Wages

• $30.00 per hour

Terms of Employment

• 30-40 hours per week, permanent
