Job Title: Cook (NOC: 63200) Employer: Beagle Pub Location: 301 Cook St. Victoria, BC V8V 3X5 Wage: 21/hr for 40 hrs per week Vacancy:  1 vacancy Employment groups to include: persons with disabilities, indigenous, newcomers to Canada, student, and vulnerable youth Terms of employment: Permanent / full time Start Date: as soon as possible Job Requirements: Languages •          English Education •          Secondary (high) school graduation certificate Experience •          At least 2 years to less than 3 years Duties: •          Train staff in preparation •          cooking and handling of food •          Order supplies and equipment •          Clean kitchen and work areas •          Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment •          Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods •          Plan menus, determine size of food portions, estimate food requirements and costs, and monitor and order supplies •          Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerance   Cook Categories: •          line cook Credentials •          Food Safety Certificate Work Conditions •          Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, repetitive tasks, attention to detail, standing for extended periods Personal Suitability •          Initiative, flexibility, Team player, excellent oral communication, dependability, judgement, reliability, organized Work Setting •          Restaurant/Pub
