Responsibilities
Tasks

1. Establish work schedules and procedures
2. Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments
3. Monitor movement of supplies and materials between departments
4. Perform routine clerical duties
5. Prepare and submit reports
6. Ensure smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery
7. Arrange for maintenance and repair work
8. Ensure accuracy of completed time sheets, payroll and other summaries
9. Ensure proper functioning of equipment
10. Maintain work records and logs
11. Monitor personnel workloads and locations
12. Organize warehouse and work areas
13. Perform general office duties
14. Resolve work related problems
15. Co-ordinate activities with warehouse and production units
16. Co-ordinate traffic flow of supplies
17. Compile worksheets and specifications of orders
18. Create, investigate, track and complete work orders
19. Estimate materials and labour required for production
20. Prepare and maintain progress and other reports
21. Co-ordinate, assign and review work
22. Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies
23. Follow-up on issues with work orders
24. Keep track of shipments
25. Operate computer-aided communications and dispatching equipment
26. Plan, organize and oversee operational logistics of the organization
27. Record mileage, fuel use, repairs and other expenses
