Royal Stone specializes in the custom fabrication and installation of natural and engineered stone slabs for countertops, floors, walls, fireplaces, etc., for the residential and commercial market. We provide quality custom stone products along with full service interior renovations for kitchens, bathrooms, and more—across GTA and beyond. We focus on quality & high level of service for our clients.
 

We are seeking two construction helpers who have some experience in interior renovation work and can help our team in various aspects of work from demolition, preparation, tile setting, to drywall, painting, cabinet and countertop installation, etc.

In this physically demanding position, you will carry out the following responsibilities & duties:
 

Ø  Pick up, load/unload construction materials;

Ø  Perform tasks such as demolition, clean up，load and dump debris/garbage;

Ø  Help with drywall boarding, taping, patching,  painting, trim work, etc.;

Ø  Assist  with subfloor repair,  tile cutting, preparation of mixtures, adhesives, coating, etc. ;

Ø  Assist with the installation of countertop, kitchen cabinets, washroom vanity, walls and floor tiles, floor protection, etc.

Ø  Provide general support to the site supervisor;

Ø  Execute tasks in an efficient, safe, and profitable manner

Ø  Quality control of the assigned tasks

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Ø  Experience in dust containment;

Ø  Professional service & positive attitude provided to teams and clients;

Ø   Knowledge of construction materials to finish materials;

Ø  Positive attitude and strong work ethic;

Ø  A desire to learn on the job;

Ø  Reliable and adaptable;

Ø  Able to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team;

Ø  Construction experience is an asset;

Ø  Blueprint reading is an asset ;

Ø  Reliable transportation and valid driver’s licence;

Ø  High School Diploma, or equivalent or enrolment in a Co-Op or Apprenticeship Program

Compensation: $25-$30/hour

Start Date: Immediately/Flexible

Hours: Full-time and flexible hours.
