Decscription: Permanent Fulltime 40 hours per week

Language: English

Education: College GEGEP or other non-university certificates or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years or equivalent experience.

Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years

Work Site Environment:

• Personal and social adjustment and health (substance abuse , gambling, behaviour disorders)
• Programs dealing with Austism Spectrum Disorder

Work Setting:

• Group Home
• Work in employer's/Client's home
• Rural area
• Community Centre
• Private Residence

Responsibilities (Tasks):

• Administrative and office activities
• Appraise clients or eligibility for specific services within the community
• Housekeeping activities
• Food preparation
• Resolve conflict resolution
• Implement behaviour management programs
• Liaise with other special services agencies and health care providers involved with clients
• Assist clients/guests with special needs
• Accompany clients/guests to appointments and social outings

Credentials:

• Mandt System Training
• First Aid Certificate
• CPR Certificate
