Position: Childcare provider – private home
Number of positions: 1
Salary: $18.5/hour
Term of employment: Fulltime (30 hours – 40 hours/week); Permanent position
Benefits:
– 2 weeks of paid vacation
– round trip transportation cost to the work location in Canada at the beginning of their work, and to return to the country or residence at the end of the work period,

Responsibilities and Duties:
– Assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents
– Shop, prepare and serve meals for children and another family’s members
– Perform other housekeeping duties: cleaning house, wash, iron and press clothing and household linens etc.
– Bathe, dress and feed infants and children
– Prepare formulas and change diapers for infants
– Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents.
– Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development
– Provide age-appropriate educational training through organized activities such as games, crafts, reading and outings
– Take children to and from school and help them with homework
– Tend to the emotional well-being of children and support their social development
Requirement
– Completion of high school
– Minimum 1 year of experience
– Childcare first aid and CPR
– Criminal check
– Reference required
– Flexible, organized and reliable
