• Completion of High School
• Minimum of 1-year full time paid work experience in similar positions
• Completion of a 6-month full-time classroom training in a related field is an asset
• Must have a flexible schedule and be available for early morning, day, early evening, and split shifts as the child’s schedule

  Responsibilities:

• Supervise and tend to child at the employer’s residence.
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals for child
• Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties related to the child only
• Instruct child in personal hygiene and support social development
• Accompany child to and from school  and to appointments
• Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the employer’s home.
• Participate with child in activities such as games, book reading, and crafts.
• Tend to the emotional well-being of the child
• Perform other related duties as required
