Description

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

·       Provide direct care and guidance of children at home.

·       Assist with daily activities including feeding, bathing, dressing and playtime.

·       Plan and guide activities throughout the day, such as reading, games and outings.

·       Educate children on personal hygiene and social development.

·       Maintain a safe, clean, and healthy environment for children.

·       Handle children in emergency situations.

·       Communicate with parents about children’ progress.

·       Purchase groceries and household necessities as needed.

Required Qualifications and Experience: 

·       Language: English

·       Asset Language: Mandarin

·       Education: Secondary school graduation certificate

·       Work Experience: 1 year of relevant work experience is required

·       Personal Suitability: Flexibility, initiative, organized

Term/Schedule: 30-40 hours per week

Work Location:  Employer’s home in Richmond Hill, ON
