Job requirements:

Languages: English

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years

Transportation/Travel Information: Public transportation is available

Work Location Information: Work in employer's/client's home

Additional Skills

Assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents, Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, Travel with family on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties

Children's Ages: Over 12 years, School age (6 – 12 years)

Specific Skills

Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents, Prepare infants and children for rest periods, Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home, Take children to and from school and to appointments, Tend to emotional well-being of children, Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development, Organize, activities such as games and outings for children, Prepare and serve nutritious meals, Supervise and care for children, Help children with homework

Weight Handling: Up to 9 kg (20 lbs)

Work Setting: Employer's home, Optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis. Note: This is NOT a condition of employment
