Job Description:

Kraft Mortgages Canada Inc. is currently hiring one full-time Chief Financial Officer to join their team in Surrey, British Columbia as soon as possible.

 

Job Duties:

  • Identify the organization's mission and develop financial strategies aligned with the company's goals and industry trends. This involves analyzing market conditions, assessing risk, identifying opportunities and providing financial insights for growth of the company.
  • Lead the budgeting process, including revenue forecasting, expense management, and capital allocation. Monitor financial performance against budgeted targets and make adjustments as necessary for organization financial health and sustainability.
  • Allocate resources – material, human, or financial—to execute organizational policies and initiatives, endorse promotional endeavors, and oversee human resources planning.
  • Establish and maintain robust financial and administrative controls to safeguard assets and prevent fraud or financial mismanagement. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including licensing, reporting, and consumer protection laws.
  • Establish financial and administrative controls and strategically plan, monitor and evaluate the policy development, implementation of procedures to ensure the efficient and compliant operation of an organization.
  • Authorize and structure the creation of key departments and corresponding senior leadership roles.
  • Choose and Recruit supervisors and team leaders and set up a stratification for employees and empower them with requisite authority, and foster conducive work environments.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks related to mortgage lending activities, such as credit risk, interest rate risk, and liquidity risk. Develop strategies to safeguard the company's financial health and resilience.
  • Serve as the organization's representative in negotiations or official capacities, or appoint delegates for such responsibilities.

 

Job Requirements:

  • University Degree in business administration or finance.
  • Minimum 4 Years of experience is required.
  • Working knowledge of office procedures and management.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) coupled with strong interpersonal skills; ability to work with a variety of personalities in a dynamic environment.
