Bulldozer Operator

Job Title: Bull Dozer Operator (NOC: 73400)

Employer: Birch Hill Construction

Location: 11 McElroy St, Moncton, NB E1C 9T2

Wage: 23/hr for 40 hrs per week

Vacancy: 2 vacancies

Job Requirements:

Languages

·       English or French

Education

·       Minimum: Secondary Education diploma or GED

·       Apprenticeship training of less than 2 years or equivalent experience

Experience

·       At least 2 years to less than 3 years of work as a excavator operator or related field.

Duties:

·       Prepares and positions bulldozers for operation

·       Operates controls to excavate, break, gouge out, move, load and spread materials including earth, rock, rubble and soil.

·       Monitors operation of the bulldozer and adjusts controls to regulate pressure, speed and flow of operation while ensuring safety of other workers.

·       Raises, lowers and manipulates attachments using manual and hydraulic controls

·       Works from drawing, makers and verbal instructions.

·       Services, lubricates, cleans, refuels and performs minor adjustments or repairs to the bulldozers.
