Description
Super 8 Brandon is a well-known hotel in Brandon, Manitoba. We are now looking for an experienced Building Handyperson position for our hotel building’s maintenance.

Working Location: 1570 Highland Avenue, Brandon, MB, R7C 1A7
Position: Building Handyperson (NOC 73201)

Duties:
– Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilating, plumbing and electrical system, and contact tradespersons for major repairs.
– Perform other routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair.
– Respond to requests from residents for minor repairs.
– Perform daily inspections on the building systems.
– Ensure that security and safety measures are in place in the establishment.
– May supervise other workers
Requirements:
–Completion of secondary school.
– More than 1 year of maintenance experience is required.
Wage: $20.00 ~ $21.00 per hour
Working Condition: 30-35 hours a week and 4% of gross income for paid vacation per year
