Position Info:

·         Position: Cook

·         Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent

·         Wage: $18.00~$21.00/hour (depending on experience)

·         Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week

·         Number of Positions:  2

·         Work Location: 1517 Robson Street, Vancouver, BC V6G 1C3

Job Duties:

·         Prepare and cook food items according to recipes and quality standards

·         Maintain food prep area and kitchen are cleaned and sanitized

·         Monitor and order ingredients, supplies, and equipment as required

·         Keep records of inventory, food and all the supplies

·         Participate in planning menus, food portions, and costs based on food requirements

·         May assist in hiring and training new kitchen staff in the preparation, cooking, and handling of food

·         Supervise kitchen operations

Job requirements:

·         Language: English

·         Experience: 2~3 years of experience of commercial cooking is required

·         Education: Completion of secondary school is required
