Description
Italian Farmhouse Restaurant is located at 20 Balsam Ave., Bragg Creek, AB T0L 0K0. We are currently looking for
permanent, full time Bakers. If you are interested, please submit your resume by e-mail.
Position: Baker
Wage: CAD$17.00/hour
Types: Full-time, Permanent
Working hours: 30-40 hours/week
Benefits: 4% of vacation pay, Free meals at work, Tips, Employee discounts
Job Duties:
• Prepare dough, mixtures, and icing & frostings for various baked & dessert items including bread, pizza, tiramisu, pate di ciccolato, cheese & chocolate cakes, and other items on the menus;
• Cut, shape and bake dough and mixtures;
• Frost and decorate cakes and other baked goods;
• Prepare production schedules to determine right quantities and types of goods to produce;
• Maintain and requisition baking supplies and materials;
• Ensure quality of goods meets the restaurant’s standards;
• Train staff.
Job requirements:
• Completion of secondary school;
• Completion of a three- or four-year apprenticeship program for bakers or completion of a college or other program for bakers or 2-3 years of commercial baking experience
