Location: 4474 Ontario St, Beamsville, ON L3J 0A9

Wage: 18 /hr for 32-40 hours per week

Job Requirements:

Languages

·       English

Education

·       Completion of high school and Completion of a college or other program/apprenticeship for bakers

·        

Experience

·     at least  3 to less than 5 years of work experience as a baker or related work experience

Duties:

·      Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls and sweet goods, batters for muffins, cookies and cakes and icings and frostings according to recipes or special customer orders

·      Bake mixed dough and batters

·      Prepare special orders

·      Frost and decorate cakes and baked goods

·      Prepare garnishes for baked items

·      Ensure that the quality of products meets established standards

·      Inspect kitchen and food service areas

·      Mix various ingredients to create fillings for cakes and pies

·      Adjust oven temperatures to ensure proper baking

·      Operate machinery

·      Organize and maintain inventory
