Wage: $30.00 ~ $31.00/hour and 4 % of vacation pay
Hour of Work: 30-40 hours per week
Start date of Employment: A.S.A.P (will be adjustable)
< Duties >
– Paint vehicle body parts such as fenders, doors, hoods, or roofs that had been damaged in accidents or need replacement.
– Apply paint on the vehicles using spray guns or rollers depending on the type of paint used and the vehicle’s surface area.
– Filing, grinding, and sanding repaired body surfaces using hand and power tools.
– Mark and tape auto body surfaces in preparation for painting.
– Mix the paint together to match the colors.
– Clean panels in preparation for painting and priming.
– Maintain spray equipment
< Requirements >
Education: Completion of secondary school is required.
Experience: Completion of a two-to three-year automotive painter apprenticeship program OR 3+ years of experience as an automotive body painter is required.
