Atomy Canada is seeking a F/T Production Assistant.

Position Info:

• Position: Production Assistant
• Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
• Wage: $30.00~$33.00/hour (depending on experience)
• Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week
• Number of Positions:  1
• Work Location: 600-4370 Dominion Street, Burnaby, BC V5G 4L7

Job Duties:

• Set up and manage mobile camera equipment, microphone and lighting gear
• Adjust focus, sounds levels and other settings for projectors and audio, ensuring the ongoing maintenance of equipment
• Utilize and install automated tools, including broadcast hardware and software, to install and change electronic control panels
• Establish, assemble, adjust, maintain reels and projector equipment, as well as handle replacements when necessary
• Maintain comprehensive notes on narrators, positions, camera angles, and capture photograph as needed
• Identify and address mechanical issues and problems related to video streaming broadcasts through detection and repair processes.

Job requirements:

• Language: English
• Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of related experience is required
• Education: Completion of college courses in broadcast technology, theatre arts or closely related filed are required
