Wanted 20 Amusement Ride operators/attendants
Working conditions: Salary: $16.55 to $18.00 per hour (to be negotiated), full time 40 – 44 hours per week, regular, 4% vacation, seasonal from May 01, 2024 until October 16, 2024, some overtime possible, WSIB.
Tasks: set up rides and amusements, operate rides and amusements, operate game booth, clean and maintain recreational facilities and grounds, assist patrons on and off rides Secure and release safety belts and bars, perform routine safety checks on the equipment, monitor equipment for wear and damage, follow safety and hygiene rules and oversea game activities to ensure safety, clean grounds, sell tickets
Work setting: amusement park travelling between the festivals/fairs in Ontario, events scheduled in the areas of Cambridge, Oshawa, Ottawa, North Bay, Sudbury, Windsor, Burlington, Whitby, Barrie, Hamilton, Brockville, Perth, Orangeville, sleep quarters in travelling trailer provided, travel expenses and vehicle supplied by employer, relocation costs covered by employer.
Requirements: age 18 +, experience an asset, training provided, willing to travel in Ontario. work conditions and physical capabilities: fast-paced environment, attention to detail, bending, crouching, kneeling, physically demanding, outdoor. Personal suitability: reliable, judgment, organized, team player.
