Position: Accounting Bookkeeper

Working Hours: 40 hours per week / 5 days a week

Wage: $25.00 – $27.00

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Husteel Canada Co. Ltd. (the “Company”) specializes in the distribution of steel pipes. The Company, the Canadian subsidiary, imports the steel products from Husteel Co., Ltd. and distributes the products in Canada. The products consist of line pipes and piling pipes.

 

Main duties

• Record financial transactions and manage the creation, maintenance, and reconciliation of diverse accounts using both manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
• Input journal entries, reconcile accounts, compile trial balance reports, oversee general ledgers, and generate financial statements.
• Ensure all financial actions comply with local legal requirements.
• Compute and issue cheques for payroll, utilities, taxes, and miscellaneous expenses.
• Complete and file tax remittance forms, workers’ compensation documentation, pension contribution paperwork, and various government-related documents.
• Compile and submit tax returns and provide additional personal bookkeeping services as needed.
• Generate a variety of statistical, financial, and accounting reports.

 

 

Employment Requirements

• Completion of secondary school
• Completion of a college program in accounting, bookkeeping or a related field is required
