2 Cooks Required ASAP

Twinkle Thai Inc. in Burnaby, BC is looking for two (2) permanent full-time Cooks to start immediately.

Starting wage $15.00-$16.00 per hour depending on the experience and your wage will be reviewed periodically with potential increases based on performance. Hours are 32-40 per week, 5 days a week, evening and weekend required

Start Date of Employment: As soon as possible

Requirements:
– Several years of cooking experience or 1 year of Thai food cooking experience or combination of both
– Completion of a secondary school is required
– Language – English, Thai is an asset Attention to detail
– Follow instructions well
– Team player
– Thai language ability is an asset
– Know Thai herbs, spices and names of foods is an asset
– Punctual
– Reliable
– Available evening and weekend

Duties and responsibilities:
– Prepare and cook Thai food meals
– Cutting vegetables, meat and seafood
– Cook appetizers with hot oil
– Cook meals to orders and watch for special notes
– Follow chefs instruction as per meal preparation
– Other duties as required
