Harrison Lake Hotel is looking for cook to join our team.
Title: Cook
Employer: Harrison Lake Hotel Ltd.
Opening: 2 positions (Permanent, Full-time)
Wage: CAD 16.25 – CAD 19.00 per hour
Working Hours: At least 30 hours per week
Benefit: 4% of vacation pay or 10 days of paid vacation
Location: 190 Lillooet Road, Harrison Hot Springs, British Columbia V0M 1K0
Requirements:
- Some secondary school education is an asset
- Previous commercial cooking experience is an asset but not required
- On-the-job training will be provided
Main Duties:
- Prepare and cook dishes including appetizers, sandwiches, burgers and salads
- Plan menu and determine food portions and size
- Oversee kitchen operations
- Ensure to maintain high quality of foods
- Manage the inventory of food ingredients and supplies
- Coordinate and supervise work of kitchen staff
- Clean and sanitize kitchen and work area
