Title of position: hot tub maintenance supervisor
Job duties:
- Supervise, co-ordinate, assign, review and control the work of hot tub maintenance workers for Bear Country owned and managed condos
- Establish work schedules and procedures and co-ordinate the work activities within the hot-tub department, and in co-ordination with other departments within Bear Country
- Inspect hot tubs and hot tub areas to ensure established safety and cleanliness standards are met
- Resolve work-related problems and prepare and submit progress and other reports
- Respond to inquiries from owners and guests regarding new hot-tub business, or in resolution of problems that may arise with hot-tub use & ownership such as repairs, faults, or replacement of spa’s
- Hire, supervise and train Hot tub attendants in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies
- Requisition supplies and materials
- Ensure smooth operation of equipment and machinery, and arrange for maintenance and repair work
- Oversee sales, installation and on-going servicing of Bear Country Hot Tubs as per our contractual agreements with our Condo owners & guests
- Monitor chemical quality and hot-tub performance levels throughout the year
- May perform the same duties as workers supervised
This is a full-time position (2 vacancies) for 2 years and 30 hours per week
Wage: $24 per hour.

Skills/education requirements:
- completion of high school
- successful completion of a course in Pool and Spa Chemistry or a similar course
- experience in Hot Tub servicing and repairs
- in possession of a valid driver’s license
- able to drive a trailer and back it up
- able to lift heavy loads
Good English language skills, a resumé and references are required.
A flexible attitude towards working hours, including Saturday, Sunday and evenings/nights, is expected.
