Position: Retail Customer Service Supervisor
Number of job vacancies: 1
Working Hours: 30 hrs per week, 5 days a week, may have to work overtime if needed
Work Shift: It can be daytime, evening, weekends and/or holidays
Wage: $22.00 per hour
Benefits: 4% of each gross payroll (Offer extended health care after 6 months of employment)

HNS was born in 1998 as the largest and first Korean Supermarket in the Korean Community in lower mainland Vancouver BC. Currently it runs Burnaby, Surrey, Downtown Robson and Langley branches. The Burnaby branch is located in Burnaby/Coquitlam where most Koreans reside, helping over 200 Korean businesses to cluster around Hannam Supermarket. The Surrey branch has become the dominant Korean Supermarket in the area for 15 years and the Langley branch has been serving Korean foods and appliances in the area for 3 years.
Main duties
- Supervise and coordinate sales staff and cashiers
- Assign each sales staff to job duties and prepare for their work schedules
- Sell products to customers and maintain high quality of produce at all times
- Resolve any issues such as customers complaints and shortage of products
- Prepare reports regarding sales revenues, staff performance and supplies orders to accounting manager/owner
- Maintain a healthy and safe working environment
- In charge of new staff recruiting and training
Employment Requirements
- Completion of secondary school is usually required.
- At least 2 years of work experience in the field of customer service industry is required
- Supervisory experience is an asset
