Position Information
Position: Home Child Care Provider
Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
Wage: $15.00 – $17.00 /hr (depending on experience)
Working Hour: 30 – 40 hours/week
Benefits: 4% vacation pay
Work Location: Employer’s Private House
Work Address: 1106 Sprice Avenue, Coquitlam, BC Canada V3J 2P4

Child's Age:
- One 7-month old infant
Job Duties:
- Bathe, dress and feed child
- Supervise and monitor the safety of child
- Prepare and organize mealtimes and snacks for child
- Prepare formulas and change diapers for child
- Organize activities or implement a curriculum that allows child to learn about the world and explore her interests
- Perform housekeeping duties such as cleaning, ironing, and vacuuming
- Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home
- Assist child maintain good hygiene
- Discipline child according to the methods requested by parents
- Develop schedules and routines to ensure that child have enough physical activity, rest, and playtime
- Keep records of child’s progress, routines, and interests
Requirements:
Experience requirements: 1-2 years of experience in child care or household management experience is required.
Educational Requirements: Completion of secondary school
Language Requirements: English
Security and Safety: Criminal record check is required.
Credentials: Emergency childcare first aid and CPR is required.
