A & W   is looking for 2 permanent full-time Food Service Supervisor who could join immediately.

The following are the requirements of the job.     

Position: Food Service Supervisor

Positions Available: 2 (2)

Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible

Compensation: $18.50 per hour

Location 1 – Island Hwy N Suite 6631, Nanaimo,BC, V9T 4T7

Location 2 – 5800 Turner Road suite 701,Nanaimo, BC,V9T 6J4

Work Hours: 30 hours/week

Terms: Permanent Full-Time

Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Supervise, direct, co-ordinate and schedule the activities of the food servers and the kitchen staff
• Maintaining a high standard of hygiene in the preparation of meals and in the kitchen/ dining area.
• Estimate and order ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation in consultation with the cooks
• Establish methods to meet work schedules
• Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage
• Responsible for training and developing servers
• Supervision and training of local kitchen staff in hygiene and the provision of healthy food.
• Maintaining good communications with other delegates and staff.
• Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards 
• Dealing with and resolving customer complaints 
• Other duties as required by the management Skills and Education:

• 1 year to less than 2 years

• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
