Position Info:

• Position: Cook
• Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
• Wage: $17.62~$20.00/hour (depending on experience)
• Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week
• Number of Positions:  2
• Work Location: 2573 Shaughnessy St, Port Coquitlam, BC V3C 3G3

Benefits:

• 4% vacation pay

Job Duties:

• Plan new menu items, regulate size of food portions, estimate food requirements and costs, and purchase kitchen supplies
• Monitor kitchen operation
• Keep the environment clean and sanitized
• Train other kitchen helpers in preparation, cooking, and handling food items
• Prepare complete meals and all our menu items
• Keep inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
• Order supplies and equipment when it needs
• May supervise kitchen staff and helpers

Job requirements:

• Experience: 2~3 years of commercial cooking experience is required
• Education: Completion of secondary school is required
• Language: English
